The Commission Process

Tell me the idea
Send the type of work, deadline, approximate size, any reference material, techniques or look you have in mind, and most importantly, your idea or desired feel for the piece.

Scope & quote
Together, we’ll clarify the project, materials, timeline, price, and revision expectations before work begins. Once the details are agreed upon, a contract will outline the deadline, expected work, included revisions, and any other project-specific terms. Projects over $300 require a 50% deposit before work begins.

Create the work
I develop the piece and communicate when feedback is most useful. Work-in-progress photos will be sent at key stages to make sure we’re on the same page before moving forward.

Finish & deliver
Once the piece is complete and approved, I’ll prepare it for the final delivery method we agreed on. The timeline will depend on the medium, size, and any necessary drying or finishing time.
